Upset that the current series of Game of Thrones has come to an end? Afraid of those long, lonely nights ahead of you without your weekly fix of sword and borderline perverse sex? Fear not, humble reader, as HBO has an ideal solution, ensuring you will always have your favourite character handy to keep you company.

One for the die-hard Game of Thrones fan, the Mystery Mini Blind Boxes are a collection of delicately made figurines of 15 of the main characters. As the name suggests though, there is a twist to ordering one of these – each box is sealed and you never know which figure is inside.

All of the fan favourites are here, but as it is blind packaging, you really do not know which one you will get. Tyrion Lannister, Joffrey Baratheon, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Khal Drogo, Drogon, Viserion, Rhaegal, Arya Stark, Robb Stark, Ned Stark, Jaime Lannister, The King Whitewalker, Ghost, and Shaggydog are all represented here (in our case, we had Arya Stark).

Whilst all of the figurines are impressive enough, and would look great on any desktop or bookshelf, it is almost hard to recommend these to the casual fan. The reason is the collections main selling point – each box is ‘blind’ and until you open it you never know who is inside. So unless you really don’t mind who you get, this will inevitably lead to disappointment if you miss out on your favourite. The potential for duplicates is high as well should you decide to collect them all.

On the flipside, should you know anyone else who is collecting them, then you can always swap your duplicates with them. For the solo collector though, the fact you may potentially end up with two or three of the same figure is maybe too much of a risk to take.
